If you are using a computer for business, we really strongly recommend you use Windows 2000 or XP. Windows 98 or ME is a time-bomb waiting to happen. Think about what would happen when your
computer crashes and you can't access or recover your data. Windows 2000/XP is a small investment for the added reliablity and security you get in return.
We also strongly recommend installing an anti-virus program (such as Mcafee, Norton or AVG) and keeping it current. Just installing one isn't enough: YOU MUST UPDATE IT WEEKLY. This is done by downloading virus definition files from the manufacturer's
website. New viruses are developed every day, only an updated virus scanner will protect you from the latest viruses.Please see our information about system requirements and important notes about Windows Operating Systems. In Genius Shop Tools is a modern program and requires
your computer to be up to some what modern standards. Another good reason to keep your computer updated with the latest service packs and browser: It helps prevent virus infection and privacy intrusions.
Service Pack Requirements
This is a required installation.
Microsoft Service Packs solve many issues and should be installed when they are released. Service Packs can be downloaded from http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com
- Windows NT Service Pack 6a (or higher)
- Windows 2000 Service Pack 2 (or higher)
- Windows XP Service Pack 1 (or higher)
Microsoft Internet Explorer 6.0 (or higher)
This is a required installation. In Genius Shop Tools will not function correctly without Internet Explorer 6.0 or higher. We strongly recommend you
upgrade to Internet Explorer 6.0. There are many reasons to upgrade, the most obvious one is that fixes solves security holes that can cause your machine to become infected by a virus just by viewing a web page.
